About me

10 June 2010

Well, most of you probably already know me to get to this point, as this website is not listed in any search engines (yet).

Almost a graduate, I’ve been studying Computer Science in the UK. Now living in Paris and looking for an exciting opening in the industry.

I work as an ICT Systems developer in Apollon IIEN, a Greek non-profit organisation focused on G&T students. In simple words, I’m responsible for all the tech related needs of the organisation. I’ve also been helping academics in interesting proposals and organising conferences.

My interests include Human-Computer Interaction, UI design, Green computing, Web design and development, Web standards, accessibility and usability, Telecommunications, GNU/Linux, FOSS and making tech related stuff work like a charm.

Being concerned about environmental issues related to technology and generally, I support various organisations. You should too, but be cautious.

I have a passion for cinema and my taste is considered a bit uncommon as I’ve become quite infamous over here. My favourite films usually come from Europe and Asia although I do follow film festivals around the world.

I’m known to spend a lot on food and places such as La Maison du Chocolat, Fauchon, La Grande Epicerie de Paris and Galeries Lafayette. I shouldn’t be mentioning this but I’ve been given the nickname Louis Quatorze because of this.

About this

3 February 2009

This website is the first step of me having a decent, presence in the web. Its ambition is to be completed to a point in the near future.
For those wondering, it is based in Textpattern, a very simple but powerful CMS and is developed following the modern web standards.

Used so far: PHP, XHTML 1.0 Transitional, CSS 2.1, WCAG 1.0 almost AAA, JavaScript.

The theme is slightly messy for now and the live search function is off as I haven’t finished my CSS but feel free to browse around and see what you can find ¬_¬
